We are slightly bunting crazy and have managed to infect our nearest and dearest with this bunting disease!!

Ta-Da!!! Bunting upstairs and downstairs!!

OWL BUNTING....

For Mumma Lane who everyone knows loves her owls!

Close up.... not your typical coloured barn owls...

Bunting for babies!!

Circular to avoid harm from sharp edges ;)

Hungry caterpillar bunting!!!! If you look closely you can see little legs on each circle!

Mamma Lane had to get into the picture too because she was soo proud of her new bunting!

And even minier bunting!

Adding a splash of colour!

Bunting bunting everywhere...

Figgy just had to get some bunting in at her parents house to brighten up the place!

Duck bunting worn as jewellery..... ( Wow talk about how many times you can use the word bunting in a post.....)

  9.  Are their polishes you can't get in your country that you really want? No idea! I just go to superdrug and buy which ever nail varnish I like the look of!
  10. What is the most amount of money you would spend on a polish and why? £5. We are both students! And our course is pretty expensive!
  11. Would you even consider making YouTube tutorials of your nail art? Why/why not? Yes I would, but they would have to be funny nail tutorials!

Every nail has a silver lining...

So this post is dedicated to one of my (Lane's) favourite nail polishes!
Barry M's 'Instant Nail Effects Foil - Silver'....

Its just SO shiny!! I feel like the Tin Man from wizard of Oz when I wear it!!
Also you only need one coat and it is super chip resistant which is SOOO good for me as I am super clumsy!

I've done this design before but this time did it even more colourful and you can never have too much colour! I just couldn't decide between pink...

or orange... So did one hand of each...

Dooo doo doo...

Getting both the hands in their so you can see both the lovely orange nails and the pinkies... I still can't decide which colour I prefer on this design and liked having a hand of each!

My second design using the lovely lovely silver...
( I think it is evident I am a big fan of turquoise...)

Little Pinkie!

Joining the line!

My chubby little hands...

These were my painted holidays nails! Wahoo! Holidayyyyyyyyy holiday cellleeebratteeeeee celebrate....

Look how shiny they are!! I've only recently started gradient nails and I just love how easy but awesome it is!

I didn't do a brilliant job of cleaning the edges (you probably noticed from the photos) this was mainly due to the fact that I knocked a nail varnish over while painting and it went EVERYWHERE and I mean EVERYWHERE in my mum's bathroom. Oops! At least it went with the colour scheme!

GREEN! I actually preferred the colours on this hand but it didn't really photograph as well as the blue!

My dad found it hilarious to find me sat in the bathtub fully dressed painting my nails so decided to take a picture.

Oh the possibilities are endless oh little silver ray of polish!

I'm afraid I haven't been able to post in a while as I have been a busy bee!! (Hopefully in a couple of weeks you will all see why!!) But Figgy has been on it like sonic with her AWESOME entries for the penguin competition!!! She has got us lots of new followers so YAYYY and HELLO :)

 Tar-rah! The Lane.

I think there's something on my eye...

Carrying on with the Penguin Challenge, it's week 3, White and Colour.

I had no idea what to do and then I saw my fabric box. Dun Dun Dunnnn! An idea came and I decided to stick felt all over my eyes! The most logical thing to do of course...

I had a white eye shadow background and stuck the felt triangles on with eyelash glue.

I couldn't actually open my eyes up properly so I had to have them closed for the picture otherwise I looked like a right weirdo!

I did two eyes this time!

And that is my white and colour look!

Not your usual makeup challenge entry!

My Eyebrows Aren't Usually This Dark!

So this is the second week of the penguin challenge, Black and Colourrrrrrr! I do loves me a bit of colour!
I decided that I would only do one eye because I knew i wouldn't be able to do both exactly the same, so I looked like a weirdo walking around the house and my parents didn't understand what the hell I was up to!

I thought that a strong black eyebrow with a complementing eyeliner would work well with crazy colours in between. An eyeliner sandwich!

Adding a few feathers was the finishing touch, applied with eyelash glue.

In my house it's full of giant colourful paintings and I thought they complemented each other well!

Once I'd finished my proper makeup I decided to go a bit crazy with some orange Barry M eye shadow that is about 30 years old, which we found in my Grandma's makeup box (and stole! muahaha)

It looked cooler in real life, I just look slightly diseased in pictures...!

And that is FiggyLane's entry for Black and Colourrrrrr!

Hope you like it!

Get Plastered!

This week the Lane and I have decided to enter a competition on xoxoalexisleigh which is very exciting! We do love our dressing up and crazy makeup! Mostly dressing up like animals... :D

This week is black and white week and I took this opportunity to mess up my skin by putting PVA glue and plaster bits on my face. I kept finding bobbles of glue in my eyebrows and hair later on when I went to a dance class...

I used the dry bits of plaster that were left in my bowl where I'd mixed plaster of paris for another project, PVA'd my face and stuck them all down while pointing a hair dryer in my face to speed up the drying process!

Apologies for the quality of of the image! It was taken on photobooth and then cropped, which meant the quality was a bit crappos.

Closeup of my lips! They peeled off in one go, which was pretty cool!

And there you have it. I got plastered!
