So a couple of days ago we got our first award!
YAY! Becca of Life of Polish nominated us! She has a very very cute blog so you should check her out!

Here are the rules:

1. Each person tagged must post 11 things about themselves.

11 things about Figgy Lane:

1) Wig Wam introduced us to the world of nail blogs!! (Our first jazzy nails for her blog!)

2) We LOVE to dress up!!

3) We are always making things and decorating our house!

4) We are quite silly.

5) We made our background ourselves with the left side representing Figgy and the right Lane.

6) We live here.

7) We study 3D design at University.

8) And take the health and safety very seriously....

9) When we're at the beach we draw on pebbles so that one day we might find one again...

10) We are slightly obsessed with Grey's Anatomy....

11) We have only been friends for 2 years and Figgy Lane has only been alive for 6 months!

Becca's questions for us!

1. How long have you been blogging? 6 months!!
2. What motivated you to start your blog? We just love being creative and felt that we wanted a space to share this and see others crazy cool ideas!!
3. What is your favourite thing about blogging? Meeting and talking to all you cool new people and knowing people like your ideas.
4. Does your nail art get noticed by strangers in real life? Do you like this? Yes!! I do find it quite flattering when people in shops ask where they can buy it and I tell them I did it myself.
5. How many nail polishes do you own? Oh god!! I have NO idea!!! especially as the collection is spilt between two houses at the moment. More than a hundred. 
6. What is your favourite nail colour for the 4 different seasons? (One per season) I love red in winter. This summer was definately a gold moment :D Mainly to support the olympics!!! 
7. Have you ever considered taking your hobby further? (i.e. nail/make up courses, working in a nail salon) To raise money for our course we ran a nail stand at our Uni painting people nails for christmas! 
8. Do you research swatches/reviews before you buy a polish or are you an impulse buyer? Impulse buyer all the way!! If I see something cool I want it straight away!! If I read a blog I'm sold from the beginning!
9.  Are their polishes you can't get in your country that you really want? No idea! I just go to superdrug and buy which ever nail varnish I like the look of!
10. What is the most amount of money you would spend on a polish and why? £5. We are both students! And our course is pretty expensive!
11. Would you even consider making YouTube tutorials of your nail art? Why/why not? Yes I would, but they would have to be funny nail tutorials!

2. If you could be any vegetable, what would you be and why?
3. I love cake. What is your favourite cake?
4. I always loved the program the borrowers, if you could be a small person, what objects would you use to make clothes and furniture out of? eg. a button for a plate.
5. If you were a polar bear, would you dip die your fur?
6. If people were all colours of the rainbow, what colour would you be and why? (I would be multicoloured!)
7. If you had to live in one of these places, which one would you choose: a wig wam, a tee pee, a yurt or a tree house. 
8. History is a marvellous thing. What time period would you travel back to?
9. If you were a cow, do you think you would eat grass?
10. If you were told that you only had one week to carry on blogging, would you cry?
